Indoor lighting installation in Lisbon

Bring fittings, LED lighting, dimmers and room controls into one plan, with the right scope for a simple replacement or a wider lighting change.

Plan the light around the activity

A kitchen worktop, reading corner and hallway have different lighting needs. Describe what the space is used for, where shadows or glare are a problem and which areas should work independently. A room plan, ceiling information and preferred fitting styles are a useful starting point before products are selected.

Consider fittings and controls together

A dimmer, lamp and fitting should not be selected as unrelated accessories. Explain whether you want dimming, separate groups or control from different positions. Ask for the proposed combination to be assessed together, including any existing equipment that will remain. A new control does not automatically provide the desired result with every fitting.

Replacement fitting or a new layout?

Changing a fitting in an existing position is different from adding lighting points, changing ceiling routes or rearranging controls. Clarify what the work includes and whether access to ceilings or walls is needed. In a finished apartment, the route and reinstatement can be as important to the proposal as the fitting itself.

Keep a lighting fault separate from an upgrade

If lights flicker, a dimmer buzzes or fittings stop working, diagnosis comes before a redesign. Record whether one fitting or several rooms are affected without opening equipment or recreating a fault. Use the flickering-lights problem page for the symptom and the repairs page for the investigation; this page is for the planned lighting installation.

Define the completed result

Agree the fitting quantities and positions, control groups, product responsibilities and testing. Clarify whether the proposal includes supplying fixtures, installing customer-selected products and restoring finishes. For a larger renovation, coordinate the lighting plan with cabinetry, decoration and the wider electrical scope before work begins.

Starting with a symptom?

These fault guides explain warning signs and useful observations. A symptom does not establish which part needs replacing.

Common questions

Can any LED lamp be used with an existing dimmer?+

Do not assume compatibility. The lamp, fitting, control and installation need to be considered together before choosing replacements.

Can existing lighting points be moved?+

The available routes, ceiling or wall construction and existing installation affect the scope. Ask what access and making good would be needed before agreeing positions.

Does this cover a flickering-light repair?+

The fault-finding service and flickering-lights problem page are the right starting points for an existing fault. Planned replacement or redesign can then be discussed separately from the diagnosis.
