Stop repeating the reset
Do not force protection to remain on, bypass it or keep resetting a circuit that trips repeatedly. Leave the affected equipment unused and arrange a professional assessment. The protective device may be responding to a fault; stopping the trip without identifying the cause is not a repair.
Record the sequence safely
Note when the problem began, which areas lost power and what was in use. Describe whether it happened immediately or after equipment had been running. You do not need to recreate the fault to produce a useful account. Leave the distribution-board cover in place.
What the symptom cannot tell you
Tripping does not, by itself, establish that the board is faulty or the contracted power is insufficient. An appliance, circuit, connection or another issue may be involved. Ask the professional to explain the diagnosis and proposed remedy before changes are made.
